Hotel del Coronado, San Diego’s most prized seaside luxury resort, wanted to establish their Instagram account as the “go-to” platform for showcasing the property and its offerings, as well as create a destination to inspire past, present and future vacationers.
In order to show the appreciation Hotel del Coronado has for the local community, BCV developed a robust strategy of posting UGC. By proactively sharing UGC paired with short and aspirational copy 2-4 times a week, Hotel del Coronado’s following began to steadily grow.
Results:
- In 2015, Hotel del Coronado was named one of the top ten most instagrammed hotels by Condé Nast Traveler
- Instagram account grew by over 16K followers in a little over a year
- During campaign period, Instagram posts garnered 217.5K comments and likes
