The Otesaga Resort is a historic property located in Cooperstown New York. In order to achieve one of the property’s key marketing objectives of building brand awareness, BCV developed a sweepstakes strategy to increase Otesaga’s social media presence.
The sweepstakes showcased historic elements of the resort through a video series and interactive posts. Each post in the sweepstakes was accompanied by creative hashtags such as #CommonLinks to showcase golf offerings, #CooperstownWonderland and #MostPerfectVillage to highlight the local area. Fans were encouraged to enter the sweepstakes in order to win a 2-night stay in America’s #MostPerfectVillage.
Results:
- 118% increase in Facebook Fan base
- Sweepstakes drove 1,800 new visits to the Otesaga Facebook page
