In Summer of 2016, the Art Institute of Chicago exhibited all three versions of Vincent Van Gogh’s “The Bedroom.” The Waldorf Astoria Chicago leveraged this exhibition to develop an event package that gave guests VIP access to the exhibit. In addition, guests received other surprise and delight opportunities while on property.
In order to drive awareness of the event package, BCV developed a social media video campaign previewing “The Bedroom” exhibit. The video was shared on Facebook and Instagram, targeting users who aligned with Waldorf’s guest demographics.
Results:
- Video reached 34.6K users
- Increased awareness of the Waldorf and it’s exclusive event package
- Drove nearly 500 clicks back to the Waldorf Astoria Chicago’s special offerings page to encourage booking
